Sunday Sept 14th, 2008	6, 7, 8th graders	Premier Performance 2nd Annual 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Tourney - This tournament is designed for all 6th, 7th & 8th grade teams in the Omaha area to gain competition experience through the one day tournament format. All teams will be guaranteed 4 matches; pool play will be followed by a single elimination tournament.
September '08	K-8th graders	Fall Clinics - All series will be progressive with emphasis on the techniques of serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking and defense.
October '08	10U-14U	Tryout Readiness Series - A clinic designed to get your daughter ready for the expectations of a club tryout. There will be a review of fundamentals, followed by multi-skilled drills and competition.

"Premier Performance" offers year-round training for volleyball players in the Metropolitan and surrounding areas. From private one-on-one lessons to small groups and camps, we offer specialized and general skills training for volleyball players wishing to take their game to a higher level. This program provides consistent training for our coaches and players, with standardized drills and philosophies to help our athlete's development transition smoothly from year to year.

Amy McLeay, Director of Premier Performance, is a 2000 Graduate of Omaha Marian High School. As a senior she captured Nebraska state championships in Volleyball and Basketball. She was a member of the State record setting 3200m Relay. As a volleyball player on the Michigan State University team, Amy started as an outside hitter as a freshman, finishing the season with a second round NCAA tournament loss to UCLA. Amy transferred to the University of Nebraska - Lincoln for her sophomore year, playing back row and was a member of the Nebraska Husker’s 2001 Final Four team. She finished her last two volleyball seasons with the University of Nebraska at Omaha, helping UNO return to the NCAA tournament. Amy received North Central Conference and All-American recognition. After graduating from UNO in the summer of 2004 with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology\Coaching, Amy began her career with Premier Volleyball where she has been active in the Club Development and Coaching. Amy’s other volleyball accomplishments include Head Coach for the Duchesne freshman team and assisted with Junior Varsity and Varsity development in Fall 2005. During the 2006 volleyball season, she was Assistant coach at Bellevue University. Amy and her husband, John live in Omaha. John is employed with Meyers Carlisle Leapley Construction, as a Superintendent. Amy and John have two children, Johnny Mac (5) and Zachary (2).

Just seems like it just ended. The 2009 Club Season is right around the corner. Plans are underway for this year's Premier Volleyball Club. Tryouts for the 2008-2009 Season will begin in November. Brochure coming soon!!!

The best high school volleyball players from the senior class of 2008 will face-off respectively in the state's annual volleyball competition on Tuesday, July 29th at 7pm CT.

Congratulations to three of our Premier 18 Gold Players for being selected to play in the "2008 Nebraska High School All-Star Volleyball" Match. Terra Andreasen (Bellevue East) will be playing for the "Blue" team. While Megan Bober (Elmwood-Murdock) and Jennie Hutt (Papillion-LV) will be playing for the "Red" team.

You can watch the game live on NET1 Channel 12 and in high-definition on NET-HD.

The Xplosive Edge presents………….Summer Strength and Conditioning Camp 2008!!!!!
Ages 14-18, June 9, 2008-Aug. 1, 2008

Devised to maximize athletic performance, The Xplosive Edge camp is an intense, eight-week camp for athletes ages 14 and up. Each athlete will be pre and post tested to see the gains that they made. A program derived from Husker Power's Performance Principles, The Xplosive Edge will make each athlete more powerful, more agile, stronger, and faster. Whether it's a star striving for a college scholarship, an athlete looking to make the high school team, or anyone trying to get better, we WILL increase the athletic performance of each attendee.

The Xplosive Edge camp consists of strength and explosive lifts, speed and agility drills, and a complete sports nutrition profile with the athletes attending camp four days a week. The Xplosive Edge athletes train 4 days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

Xplosive Edge Summer Camp: June 9, 2008-Aug. 1, 2008

Days: Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday 6:00-8:00am, 8:30-10:30am, or 5:30-7:30pm, please pick a time

Cost: Reg. $395 Premier Discount $295 (All athletes already participating in the Xplosive Edge through Premier over at the courts will have the option to join this camp, the price of this camp will be pro-rated $65 and also we will give you an additional $35 off the price making the price $295)

Location: The Xplosive Edge Summer Camp will be at The Xplosive Edge located inside the Omaha Sports Complex on 147th and Giles.
